IMPORTANT REDEMPTION POLL + PLAN
As you all know, we've been struggling with activity in GladeClan and CragClan for going on two months, along with having to constantly replace high ranks. What I'm about to say needs to be read with an open mind and your honest opinion on what should happen from this point onward.
A roleplay is nothing without their community, after all.
AspenHorizons ☀️ and I have been talking for weeks, trying to find a way to alleviate some of the lag in the map, the inactive high ranks, and etc. Lag can be fixed, yes, but activity cannot.
As many of you have noticed, WarrenClan is definitely the most active clan, while GladeClan and CragClan are at roughly the same levels of activity. So Aspen and I would like for you all to hear us out on our idea.
Redemption was at it's peak when all three clans were in the grotto. Since then, I've not seen nearly as many GC and CC warriors online. So that's what lead us to this idea:
Instead of having three clans, or even four, we would bring down the number of clans to two. This would be a lot more enjoyable for all of us, instead of having to split members three ways. The only question we asked ourselves was: Why would the clans move to a new territory much bigger than before and then split into only two clans? There would be no land to fight over, because there would be so much. Not only that, but both clans would have to pick between both old camps, which I don't think would be fair to some who liked one camp more than the other.
So instead, Aspen and I have come up with a brand new RP idea.
Note that this wouldn't be affiliated with Inheritance OR Redemption. It would be it's own story.
Our story starts in Yellowstone National Park. Two clans, PeakClan and GorgeClan, with an age old hate for eachother. The clans fight over land, while also fighting off other wildlife such as black bears, elk, bison, you name it. I'm not going to go into plot specifics, but essentially it'd be more of a clan vs clan AND a clan vs enviornment roleplay.
Ok, now that you know the gist of the new RP idea, I'll list the pros and cons of leaving this roleplay behind in a complete unbiased opinion.
PROS
⚜ Activity levels would rise for certain if we only had two clans to recruit for, both being lead at the helm by both founders at the start.
⚜ Everyone would be involved for plot purposes and no clan would be left out.
⚜ Detailed camps like the prior map and less empty space, resulting in perhaps less lag than what we have in this map.
⚜ Mini plots would be varied and constantly switched up, such as droughts, bear attacks, etc. Not just constant border skirmishes.
⚜ Decide what clan you and your friends from other clans would like to join together!
CONS
⚜ Characters from this roleplay would either have to be deleted, or their history would have to be altered in order to fit into the new roleplay. Considering the vastly different locations.

Now, I'd just like to mention that once the poll is over, if it's agreed that we should make a new roleplay, then we won't just drop this one immediately. We'd set a date in the future when the RP would end, and the new one would begin. It won't be affective immediately.
However, if it's decided by majority that we should continue redemption, then that's what we'll do. But at the rate it's been going, having to demote high ranks and watching activity in the clans fluctuate, well, we'll do our best.
Only NON STAFF are permitted to vote in the poll, as we all know where each other stand on this. Please pick whichever option suits you best, and feel free to leave CONSTRUCTIVE comments.
